Shape-shifter Nimona convinces Lord Ballister Blackheart that he needs her help to carry out his evil plans and defeat Sir Ambrosius Goldenloin. The latter is with the Instiution of Law Enforcement and Heroics, and both Nimona and Blackheart think it’s not as great as everyone thinks it is. Hilarity and destruction ensue as nothing goes according to their wacky plans in this witty and inventive graphic novel. Nimona is an endearing and smart character, and I dare you not to fall in love with her (in all of her many forms).

Originally created as a web comic book series, Nimona is an extraordinary graphic novel capable of fascinating young people and adults that has thrown its author, ND Stevenson, into stardom. Nimona is an impulsive young shapeshifter with a knack for villainy. Lord Ballister Blackheart is a villain with a vendetta. As sidekick and supervillain, Nimona and Lord Blackheart are about to wreak some serious havoc. Their mission: prove to the kingdom that Sir Ambrosius Goldenloin and his buddies at the Institution of Law Enforcement and Heroics aren't the heroes everyone thinks they are. About the Author
ND Stevenson has been nominated for a Harvey Award, and was awarded the Slate Cartoonist Studio Prize for Best Webcomic in 2012 for Nimona. A graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art, ND is the co-writer of Lumberjanes and lives in Los Angeles.
