A Book for Every Genre
Welcome to my most ambitious list yet – a book for EVERY genre in the store. Well, almost. I did 51 and I’m sure I missed a few. Some I combined, some I split up a little further, and the order takes you roughly on a walking path through the store.
Being the book buyer for the store, it helps that my interests are incredibly varied – I’d probably read a book in every section of the store before I started working as a bookseller five and a half years ago. I’ve been meaning to take on a post of this scale for awhile now, but the holidays seemed like the best time. Especially for our loyal customers who come in during this time of year and would like me, personally, to help them pick out books for their family members, but cannot find me in the store (I’m still nursing a knee injury while working in the back room – knock and say hi!).
All that being said, I hope you’ll find this list helpful for your holiday shopping, in many cases it was difficult to narrow it down to just one book so if you’d like more in a particular genre, just leave a comment! Also, since there are 51 books on the list, I skipped the publisher description after my blurb, but they’re all on the website! - SARAH
